Contemporary is a broad genre that explores the possibilities of movement, connection to your body and your feelings within. Dance Connect Centre is a provider of Rambert Grades syllabus. With the Rambert syllabus we are celebrating individuality and developing creativity, technique, and performance skills. This class includes a warm up, a few exercises, learning a new short dance every week or two, then stretching to finish.

The dance performance class covers multiple genres and focuses on a few technique exercises before moving on to learning choreography. There are three dances taught in the first three terms of the year to be performed at a dance concert. The dance concert is at the end of term four. This class requires a commitment to attend regularly.

The repertoire class is different to a usual ballet class. Class begins in the centre to practice technique exercises before working on repertoire. Repertoire is learning a variation of famous choreography from much loved ballets such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker and Giselle. There is a new variation taught each term.
